Get down to business without distraction at Bungaree Station.
Historic Bungaree Station is essentially a village within a pastoral property, situated 140km north of Adelaide in the famous Clare Valley wine district. Apart from offering accommodation in heritage buildings, we also offer unique venues for conferences and business meetings, catering and activities.
The Shearers’ Quarters has been converted to a conference facility, with two conference rooms, both with a capacity of about 25 people around tables or 30 to 40 people in theatre arrangement. The Shearers’ Quarters dining room and historic Woolshed can be utilised by larger groups and those requiring more space, for example for interactive team building activities and trade displays.
Full catering is available for conferences, with a focus on seasonal and local produce, and flexibility to suit the style of function, whether you require a relaxed BBQ or a 3 course dinner.
We offer accommodation for up to 35 guests in historic buildings (ranging in size from 1-4 bedrooms) located throughout the station complex. If we are unable to accommodate all delegates on the property, additional accommodation is available nearby and in Clare.
Activities, such as a tour of the historic station complex, clay target shooting or perhaps simply relaxing around a bonfire, can be incorporated into your conference agenda. For those delegates who are feeling energetic, there is also a scenic walking trail through the paddocks and a swimming pool which guests are welcome to use in Summer. If the group wish to explore the local area, other activities could include winery tours, rounds of golf at the Clare Golf Course and cycling the Riesling Trail.
