Updated 8 April 2021
Given recent Government announcements relating to COVID-19, we have taken appropriate steps to minimise any health risks to our residential guests, fantastic team, family and wider community.
Day visitors and tours
We are currently open to day visitors who wish to do a self guided tour or visit our farm shop, between 10am - 4pm daily. Bookings are not currently required for self guided tours - simply come to the Station Office on arrival.
Self contained accommodation
We have welcomed the easing of travel restrictions within South Australia and have enjoyed welcoming guests back to stay at Bungaree. Our self contained accommodation is available for guests and can be booked online or via phone or email.
COVID-Clean Accreditation, COVID-Safe Plan and COVID-19 Marshals
We have received COVID-Clean accreditation through the Australian Tourism Industry Council, with rigorous hygiene procedures in place, a picturesque property to enjoy with more than enough space for self distancing and measures such as self check-in available.
We have accredited COVID-19 Marshals to help implement our COVID-Safe Plan and oversee functions in our venues.
We do collect contact tracing records, as required by the current COVID-19 requirements, which are not utilised for any other purposes and are disposed of appropriately after the required time frame.
We ask that you play your part and follow latest advice to help in this global challenge to stop the spread of this coronavirus and the corresponding impact on the community and health services.
Flexible booking terms for direct bookings
We wish to provide as much flexibility as possible to our customers at this time of uncertainty, with the health and safety of our guests, staff and wider community being our priority.
We understand that people are wanting to plan their holidays but require additional flexibility given the possibility of travel restrictions being introduced.
Please note that the following booking terms apply to direct bookings only (i.e. those bookings made directly with Bungaree via our website, email or phone):
- No booking change fee or cancellation fee will apply in the case of a "lockdown" or state border restrictions preventing clients from travelling but we do ask that you give us as much notice as possible.
- For new bookings for stays until the end of June 2021, we have introduced more flexible booking terms, including waiving any booking change/cancellation fees made 30+ days prior to arrival, and reducing the cancellation fee to $88 per per building per night if 7-30 days prior to arrival. A cancellation fee of 50% of total booking cost (rather than 100%) will apply to bookings cancelled less than 7 days prior to arrival.
- If guests are unwell or have any concerns about travelling closer to the date, we ask that they contact us as soon as possible to arrange a fee-free transfer of their booking to an alternative date.
Please note that bookings made through a third party or booking agent are subject to that organisation's booking terms, so you will need to contact them directly to check booking terms or change bookings, but we are happy to assist where we can to minimise any fees etc or transfer bookings to alternative dates.
Virtual site visits
We recognise that many people are using this time to plan future events, such as weddings, reunions, birthdays and conferences. For those who are unable to make an appointment to visit the venue in person, we can provide a "virtual venue visit" through an online meeting. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to take advantage of this opportunity.

Thank you for your support and co-operation at this challenging time. We will continue to update you if there are any important developments affecting future guests and visitors.
Stay safe and well,
Vicky and Mark
