Heritage Clare Package
Follow in the footsteps of early settlers and winemakers in this two night journey through the picturesque Clare Valley, offered by Bungaree Station and Kilikanoon Wines in collaboration with Sevenhill Cellars and Sevenhill Hotel.
Your introduction to the Clare Valley begins with a private guided farm tour of Bungaree. This will provide insights into the region’s early settlement and continual evolution, before you settle into your accommodation, a self contained heritage-listed cottage on this iconic property. For a couple, we generally recommend the Stallion Box or Swaggies Hut, while if you are travelling with friends, the Council Chambers is suitable for 2 couples while the Manager's House is perfect for 3 couples.
A bottle of Kilikanoon Vouvray is the perfect companion to a Clare Valley BBQ pack left in your accommodation for you to enjoy that evening.
The next day will be an exploration of the region’s wineries, including an immersive experience at the Clare Valley's oldest winery, Sevenhill Cellars. After your Historic Tour and Tasting you can make your way to Sevenhill Hotel where you can enjoy a bite to eat and discover for yourselves why it has been awarded 'Best Country Hotel' the last three years.
After lunch take the scenic drive to Kilikanoon Wines' Cellar Door, a beautifully restored 1860s farm cottage. You will be rewarded with the Revelation Experience, a private tasting of some of Kilikanoon's most distinguished, award winning wines, including their two "Best Shiraz in the World" Wines and the pinnacle of Kilikanoon's Collections, the Revelation Shiraz (RRP $550 a bottle).
A second night at Bungaree will complete your Clare Valley escape.

We recommend a 2 night stay for a more relaxed experience. For a single night stay only, please contact us to discuss how the itinerary could altered to fit in key inclusions.
Less than a 10 minute drive from some of the Clare Valley's best wineries, Bungaree provides not only a great base to explore the region, but also a perfect retreat for evenings in front of the fire sampling your wine purchases!
Booking the "Heritage Clare" Package
Bookings can be made online by selecting the "Heritage Clare Package" tariff type (price includes accommodation and package inclusions). Payment for online bookings will be processed as part of the booking process.
Alternatively, tentative bookings can be made by contacting Bungaree by phone or email, with bookings to be confirmed with payment within 14 days.
Once a package booking has been made, we will contact you to confirm itinerary, so it can be tailored to fit in with your travel arrangements and availability of experiences at venues.
Please note that booking group size is minimum 2 and maximum 6 people due to tasting and tour group size restrictions.

"Heritage Clare" package booking terms and conditions
Accommodation: Bedding and bathtowels are provided, as well as breakfast provisions for both mornings and BBQ dinner provisions for the first night. Cots and highchairs for infants are available by prior request, subject to availability.
Wine tasting/tour experiences: Tasting experiences at Sevenhill Cellars and Kilikanoon Wines are subject to availability. Wine and wine tasting experiences are not suitable or available for children aged under 18 years.
Sevenhill Hotel: $50 Voucher to be used at Sevenhill Hotel is only valid for the stay & no change will be given.
Complimentary activities: While staying at Bungaree, guests can enjoy self guided tours of the historic station complex, walking trails, animal feeding and use of swimming pool. There is a farm shop showcasing farm and local produce on the property. Free WiFi is available for guests. Bonfires, massage, yoga and catering are also available by prior arrangement (charges apply).
Booking changes/cancellations: Package bookings can be changed or cancelled up to 2 weeks prior to booking commencement date but will result in an $88 administration fee per building per night. Changes to bookings are unable to be made less than two weeks before the booking start date and will result in a cancellation charge of 50% of total booking cost, while bookings cancelled within 2 days of arrival are non-refundable.
The property tour in the open-top landy was a highlight as we got to see much of the property, learnt about the history and was able to see all the livestock, including the deer.
