COVID-19 Update

COVID-19 Update

Updated February 2023

Given recent Government announcements on the easing of COVID-19 related restrictions, we have been enjoying welcoming back larger functions, interstate tour groups and international visitors. We will continue to take appropriate steps to minimise any health risks to our guests, fantastic team, family and wider community.

Day visitors and tours
We are open daily between 10am-4pm for visitors who wish to do our self guided tour or visit our farm shop. Bookings are not currently required for self guided tours - simply come to the Station Office on arrival.

Self contained accommodation
We have welcomed the easing of travel restrictions and enjoyed welcoming guests back to stay at Bungaree. Our self contained accommodation can be booked online or via phone or email.

Booking terms for direct bookings
We wish to provide as much flexibility as possible to our customers at this time of uncertainty, with the health and safety of our guests, staff and wider community being our priority.

We understand that people are wanting to plan their holidays but require additional flexibility given the possibility of travel restrictions being introduced.

Please note that the following booking terms apply to direct bookings only (i.e. those bookings made directly with Bungaree via our website, email or phone):

  • No booking change fee or cancellation fee will apply in the case of a "lockdown" or state border  restrictions preventing clients from travelling but we do ask that you give us as much notice as possible.
  • Accommodation bookings can be changed or cancelled up to 2 weeks prior to booking commencement date but will result in an $88 administration fee per building per night.
  • Accommodation booking changes are unable to be made less than 2 weeks before the booking start date. Accommodation booking cancellations within 2-14 days of commencement incur a cancellation charge of 50% of total payment, while bookings cancelled within 2 days of arrival are non-refundable.
  • If guests need to isolate or quarantine, we ask that they contact us as soon as possible to discuss their booking.

Please note that bookings made through a third party or booking agent are subject to that organisation's booking terms, so you will need to contact them directly to check booking terms or change bookings.

COVID-Clean Accreditation, COVID-Safe Plan and COVID-19 Marshals
We have received COVID-Clean accreditation through the Australian Tourism Industry Council, with rigorous hygiene procedures in place, a picturesque property to enjoy with more than enough space for self distancing and measures such as self check-in available.

We have accredited COVID-19 Marshals  to help implement our COVID-Safe Plan and oversee functions in our venues.

We ask that you play your part and follow latest advice to help in this global challenge to stop the spread of this coronavirus and the corresponding impact on the community and health services.

Government Advice on COVID-19
Further advice and information about COVID-19 is available on the SA Health website: https://www.covid-19.sa.gov.au/

Thank you for your support and co-operation during what has been a very challenging time for hospitality businesses. We will continue to update you if there are any important developments affecting future guests and visitors.

Stay safe and well,

Vicky and Mark
